BODY LANGUAGE STUDIO
Body Language Studio primarily serves youth in the Renton, Bellevue, and Issaquah areas, from preschool to high school, by providing them with a safe, inclusive space to learn, grow, create, and express through dance. We believe that "dance is a universal language," giving everyone a voice, and we promote cultural diversity, inclusion, and acceptance of all people and body types. Our core values are education, JOY, growth mindset, and excellence. Our competitive youth performing group participates in community showcases and competes on a regional and national level. We also produce dance events, such as breaking battles and a full-length Nutcracker. We are the home of Massive Break Challenge and the only Championship Training Program for youth breaking (break dancing) in the PNW, led by members of Massive Monkees.

Nutcracker
Celebrating 15 years of holiday tradition, this year’s performance is set to enchant audiences with its creativity and charm. Featuring over 40 talented student dancers and starring world-renowned B-boys Jeromeskee and Nova of the Massive Monkees crew as the Nutcracker and Mouse King, this production promises something special for all ages.
Adding a fresh twist to the classic ballet, highlights include a tap-dancing Harlequin Doll, an acrobatic Peacock act, and an electrifying breaking Battle Scene, alongside stunning ballet sequences. Vibrant costumes, dazzling sets, and the spacious Foster Performing Arts Center create the perfect backdrop for this festive experience.
