TAP

Style Definition

Tap is an American art form that began in the mid-1600s. Since the addition of metal taps to the shoes and the rise of musicals on stage and screen, tap dance soon became part of America's cultural fabric. Our tap classes focus on musicality, rhythmic timing, counter-rhythms, intricate patterns, and syncopation, as well as cultivating dancers' personal styles and learning choreography. Recognized for our clear sounds and unique and fun choreography, our tap program has grown to produce many talented dancers!
