Spring Dance Sampler Class for Kids: Discovering the Magic of Dance!

Experience the magic of dance with our Spring Dance Sampler Class for kids! Designed to introduce various dance styles including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and tap, this program offers a dynamic exploration of movement and creativity. Led by experienced instructors, kids will develop skills, express themselves through choreography and improvisation, and culminate their journey with a thrilling on-stage performance at our Recital in dazzling costumes. Register now for an unforgettable dance experience that will ignite your child's passion and confidence!

Ever wondered where all those plaques, ribbons, and trophies come from? Our competition team consistently earns accolades season after season! Yet, beyond the thrill of winning physical awards, our Team cultivates young dancers who strengthen a growth mindset, rapidly advance in dance technique, develop more confidence and charisma, and embrace accountability and professionalism while proudly representing BLS beyond our studio walls. The best part is that our Team Dancers are competitive but KIND.

All dancers ages 5 and older, as of May 1st, are invited to audition for one of our competition teams, BLS Select, Body Rock Breaking Crew, or Shooting Stars. These groups will represent Body Language Studio at local dance competitions and community performance opportunities for the 2024 - 2025 season.

3:50 - 4:30 PM Ballet/Pointe (Ages 8+)

3:50 - 4:30 PM Hip-Hop (Ages 8+)

4:40 - 5:20 PM Shooting Stars: Non-Breaking (Ages 5 - 7)

4:40 - 5:20 PM Tap (Ages 8+)

5:30 - 6:10 PM Shooting Stars: Breaking (Ages 5 - 7)

5:30 - 6:10 PM Breaking (Ages 8+)

6:00 - 7:00 PM Jazz/Musical Theater & Contemporary/Lyrical (Ages 8+)

Join one of our 3-week Audition Prep classes! The Audition Prep Class for Breaking will be on Wednesdays, 4/17 - 5/01, from 4:10 - 5:05 PM. The Audition Prep Class for Jazz/Contemporary will be on Thursdays, 4/18 - 5/02, from 6:55 - 7:50 PM.

Massive Break Challenge is back at Body Language Studio! Open to the public and all active and aspiring B-boys, B-girls, and B-kids are welcome. Join Jeromeskee, Nova, and Glen of Massive Monkees crew for a night of dancing, practice, ciphering, and battles. Come to participate in all or some, or even just to watch! MBC is the Pacific Northwest’s biggest youth breaking league!!
